We’re committed to safeguarding your personal data with transparent and strong privacy practices
Last updated: September 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Intent, operated by Armand RIBEIRO (“Intent”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Intent mobile application (“App”) or the Intent website (“Site”).
By using Intent, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
For privacy-related questions or requests, you may contact us at support@intentmobile.com.
Information We Collect
We are committed to protecting your privacy and collecting only the information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, synchronize, and improve Intent.
The information we collect depends on the features you use, the permissions you grant, and whether you create an Intent account.
Personal identification information
When you create an Intent account, we may collect personal information including:
First and last name
Email address
Account identifier
Information provided through Google Sign-In
Account settings and preferences
If you choose to sign in with Google, we may receive basic account information such as your name, email address, profile information, and Google account identifier, depending on the information made available through Google Sign-In.
Intent does not receive or store your Google password.
You may also voluntarily provide your email address through the Intent website to join our launch waitlist.
Waitlist information
If you join the Intent waitlist, we collect the email address you voluntarily provide.
Your waitlist email address will be used only to:
Confirm or manage your waitlist registration
Notify you when Intent becomes available
Send essential information directly related to the launch of Intent
Joining the waitlist does not automatically subscribe you to a general marketing newsletter.
We intend to use Brevo to manage waitlist emails.
You may request removal from the waitlist at any time by contacting support@intentmobile.com.
Waitlist information will be deleted when it is no longer reasonably necessary for the launch notification process.
App usage information
Intent is designed to help Users reduce distracting app usage by detecting selected application activity and applying blocking, intervention, or redirection rules.
Depending on the features you use, we may collect information including:
Applications selected as distracting apps
Applications selected as redirection destinations
App names and package identifiers
App usage events
Time and duration of selected app usage
Times at which selected apps are opened
Number of attempted app openings
Number of Intent interventions
Number of blocks or redirects
Rules created by the User
Rule schedules and activation periods
App categorization preferences
Progress statistics and streaks
Intent configuration and synchronization information
This information may be stored in our Supabase infrastructure in order to synchronize your account, rules, settings, and statistics between sessions or supported devices.
Intent does not intend to collect the content of your private messages, passwords, keyboard input, photos, personal files, emails, financial information displayed in other apps, or the private content of third-party applications.
Android permissions and device access
Certain Android permissions and system access are required for Intent to provide its core functionality.
Intent may request the following permissions or access:
Usage Access
Usage Access allows Intent to determine when selected applications are used and to generate relevant app usage statistics.
Accessibility Service
The Accessibility Service allows Intent to detect when selected applications are opened so that an active blocking or redirection rule can be applied.
Intent uses Accessibility access for its digital wellbeing, blocking, intervention, and redirection functionality.
Intent does not intend to use the Accessibility Service to collect passwords, private messages, keyboard input, financial information, or unrelated private content from other applications.
Display over other apps
This permission allows Intent to display a blocking, intervention, or redirection interface above a selected application when an active rule is triggered.
Notifications
Notification permission allows Intent to inform you about relevant events, such as when a rule becomes active, ends, changes status, or requires your attention.
You may disable notifications through your Android device settings.
Background operation
Intent may need to operate in the background so that your active rules continue to function while the Intent application itself is not open.
Alarms and reminders
Intent may use Android scheduling functionality to activate or deactivate rules at the times you have selected.
Installed application information
Intent may access limited information about applications installed on your device, including app names, icons, and package identifiers, where necessary to allow you to select distracting apps or redirection destinations.
You can revoke Android permissions through your device settings. However, disabling certain permissions may prevent some Intent features from functioning correctly.

We may collect limited technical information necessary to maintain, secure, diagnose, and improve Intent.
This may include:
